The Bridge of the Chinese language

On December 6, the Awarding Ceremony of the V Regional Competition “The Bridge of the Chinese language” took place in the Theater Hall of the Conservatoire. The competition is annually held by the partner of Conservatoire – the Language and Culture Center “Slovo”(Word) with the support of the Chinese Embassy in Russia.
The First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Moscow Ms. Zhao Dan and the Third Secretary, Mr. Zhang Hungjiang took part in the ceremony and met with the Rector of Conservatoire, Prof. Alexander G. Zanorin. Rector gave the guests a tour of the historical part of the building and held a working meeting. Issues of working with Chinese students, cooperation with musical institutions in China and opportunities for expanding collaboration were discussed.
Traditionally, Chinese students of Conservatoire participated in the ceremony and performed a number of compositions. We would like to thank Professors Victor Demidov, Andrey Kosenko, Assistant Professors Yury Dolgov, Vladimir Levitsky, pianists D. Gladysheva, O. Zakharkina, N. Kulikova for preparation of students’ performances.
