Students are awarded the title of Miss Navruz

On April 3 the XXV International Competition of National culture and arts «Miss Navruz of the World» was held in Saratov Drama Theater. In 2026, the contest celebrates its 25th anniversary and is dedicated to the Unity of the peoples of Russia.
«The Spring Equinox celebration with active participation of young people is a good opportunity to restore emotional balance, express love and respect to the family, its elder members and pay tribute to our ancestors’ heritage, which fills us with admiration and pride» - the Regulations of competition says.
This year 48 students from different countries and regions of Russia took part in the competition. Saratov Conservatoire was represented by Veronika Sokolova (Russia), Zhou Kedi and Zhong Zihan (China). Traditionally, participants demonstrated their national costumes, artistic performances that reflect culture and lifestyle of their countries. All of Conservatoire representatives won titles of the winners: Zhong Zihan became Miss Navruz of the World “The Eastern Beaty - 2026”, Veronika Sokolova and Zhou Kedi were awarded the title of Miss Navruz of the World “National Traditions - 2026”.
The competition was held by Saratov regional branch of “Assembly of the Peoples of Russia” with the support of Regional Government and the Public Chambers.
