Student of Conservatoire became the first on «The World Cup»

Student of Musical college of Saratov Conservatoire Rostislav Gorianskii (class of Prof. V. Bondarenko) became the First Prize laureate of the International accordion competition «The World Cup». The competition took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina on September 23-27.
«The World Cup» is one of the most prestigious international competitions for accordion and button-accordion performers. The competition annually held in different countries since 1948 brings together the best accordionists of the world. This year 26 performers from Serbia, Italy, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Japan, China, Kazakhstan and Russia took part in the competition. The judgement at the competition is based on Olympic principles: there are no prizes, and there is no diploma title. Rostislav Gorianskii shared the podium with two representatives of Serbia.
In May 2025, Rostislav got the second prize of the Russian Accordion Performers Championship and was included into Russian National team with 10 other musicians for «The World Cup». The victory at this prestigious competition confirms effective pedagogical tradition and high level of Saratov Conservatoire accordion performing school.
