Concerts and classes of “Choir Unity”

On October 22, the concert within the frame of the project «The Choir Unity: Russia - Belarus» took place in Saratov Conservatoire. Gnesin Contemporary Choir Music Ensemble «Altro Coro» and Students’ choir of Belarus State Academy of Music performed their programs for Saratov audience. The same day master-classes were held by:

• Rector of Saratov Conservatoire, Prof. Alexander Zanorin;
• Rector of Gnesin Academy, Prof. Alexander Ryzhinskii;
• Artistic Director of Students’ Choir of Belarus State Academy of Music Inessa Bodyako;
• Associate Professor of the Choir conducting department of Belarus State Academy of Music Semen Klimanov.

The Choir Forum was aimed at the exchange of experience, strengthening the methodological basis of choral pedagogy, and enriching the creative ties between choral groups representing the three levels of musical education in Russia and Belarus. The cycle of educational concerts started on April 1 in Minsk and finished on October 26 in Moscow.
