Application period for XV International Alfred Schnittke Competition is opened

This year XV International Schnittke Competition will be held in three nominations: «Composition for string orchestra», «Composition for chamber choir», «Composition for children’s choir». In each nomination, compositions lasting from 4 to 8 minutes are accepted for the competition.

Age limit: composers from 18 to 40 years old are invited to take part in the competition.

Participants pay no registration fee.

Compositions of the laureates will be performed by Volga Chamber Orchestra (Artistic Director and Conductor – Mikhail Myasnikov), Chamber Choir “Viva Art” (Artistic Director – Violetta Maltseva) and Children’s Choir of Lev Shugom Music School (Artistic Director – Oxana Barabash).

Deadline for applications: April 15, 2024.
